Other than the solid support, what I like best about this knee brace is the terry lined ventilation. The neoprene on unlined types tend to allow sweat to build up and give me a rash behind my knee but not this one. The extra padding on the front is another smart addition that protects against bumping knees when playing sports (like basketball). I thought I might need an XL but the large fit me just right. Here are the sizes when measuring around your knee:
Small 13"-14"
Medium 14"-15"
Large 15"-17"
X-Large 17"-18"

I have had some okay knee supports (thick neoprene types) in the past, but the new ones have very thin foam thickness. The thinner the foam, the worse the support. These Valeo knee supports are a turn back to quality and I was so glad to find them.
Why?
1. They fit just like a knee support is supposed to fit
2. They are not tiring to wear.
3. Thick neoprene for great support
4. They are lined with a terry cloth material so they breathe and don't become damp
This is a no brainer! In my book, best supports out there.

My first ever knee support. The material is great, it ventilates very nicely. Your sweat really soak through the padding in the front. If you touch it after workout or sport, it's wet on the outside. The only thing I noticed is that after awhile it gets stretched and winkles a little in the spot where knee is bending. I think that takes some support away, so you have to readjust a little. Maybe I got one that's larger than my actual size I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm going to measure my knee size today, and place another order for the other knee. Again, great product. Very reasonable price too!

At the young age of 26 I found myself with nagging knee pain after working out or running/jogging. Specifically my left knee. After talking with my uncle who has fought similar pain he recommended a neoprene brace. After much research and comparison, reading reviews and price checking, I settled on this one and I've been almost completely pain free ever since. I really do notice if the difference if I forget to wear it during a workout afterwards.
The fabric and stitching seems high quality, the Valeo name though has since worn off, which is fine.
It fits perfectly for myself, at about 6'5 230lbs.
Depending upon how much it's used I'll throw it in the washer everywhere from bi-weekly to weekly, which cleans it up quite well and does tighten it back up just a bit.
Highly recommended.

I'd probably give this a 4.5 star if I could. I've had a few knee issues which have required additional support. I've purchased other braces which "braced" the knee but had other issues that made my knee uncomfortable. This is a neoprene brace with a terry-cloth lining. Nice, didn't sweat in it. It supported the knee just fine. I also think due to the neoprene, it kept my knee warmed up which really seemed to help. Washes up nice.
Good investment.
