Not this jump rope Jan 13, 2007
By Steven G The black beads are prone to break (oddly, not the red ones). At about six weeks the rope frayed at one of the handles and beads went flying. I do prefer jump ropes with beads, but this model failed me.

Beads break May 15, 2007
By P. Bitter I bought this rope for my 7-year-old son who has taken a recent interest in jump roping. The rope is adjustable, although there are no instructions for how to adjust it - I had to figure it out for myself. He has been using it frequently for a week or two, and the beads are constantly breaking off. The red ones went first, but now the black ones are starting to break. It's a nice rope with good handles, but the beads need to be made from a more durable plastic.

A little too long and light Jan 19, 2007
By Richard L. Wilson I'm 6'1'' and this jump rope was too long for me to use. It was easily shortened by popping off the end cap on one handle, removing a few beads, then cutting and re-knotting the rope. My only complaint is that it's a little too light for me. If the beads were a little heavier, it would be perfect. It does seem well made, and well worth the price.

poor quality jump rope Apr 06, 2009
By MZ Valeo Beaded Jump Rope This is a poor quality jump rope. The beads started breaking after just one use. My other jump rope is over 20yrs old and the beads have yet to break. The beads are also too light so the jump rope does not swing properly. I would not recommend this jump rope.
Great Workout Mar 05, 2012
By barbara I really like these kind of jump ropes. They remind me of elementry days. These are the best work out tool because you can take them anywhere and they really give you a boost of energy.
