Best adhesive remover on the market. Jun 05, 2010
By A. FEATHER

First found this product (under a different brand name) while in England. This is the best adhesive remover for cleaning after multi-day patches or tape. It is far better than ANY of the brands available in any pharmacy or drug store locally. Highly recommended.

Removes tough adhesive from skin easily Sep 24, 2010
By James Garton I use these on a regular basis for adhesive removal from medical tape. I wear an insulin pump with a contiuous glucose monitor which both require much tape to hold in place. The wipes work very well. Yes the smell is not pleasant, but it is not terrible. I use them and then wash the area from where the adhesive was removed, thus eliminating any issues about unpleasant odors. I like this product very much.

AMAZING MUST-HAVE FOR CHANGING DRESSINGS Aug 27, 2009

My husband had bandages that needed to be changed daily. Removing adhesive bandages from large areas of skin can be excruciatingly painful. Use these adhesive remover wipes to painlessly and effortlessly remove bandages. These little gems are worth their weight and more in gold. We received a few samples from M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX and then could not find them anywhere in our area. The doctor offices here wanted to know where to get these and now we know.

The benefits far outweigh the smell! Apr 03, 2012
By DJ Zeratul I use insulin pump infusion sets and I have to change them every 3 days to prevent infection. Lets say that's a "recommendation" and sometimes this extends to 4 or 5 days... I am a busy man, what can I say. Anyhow, during this time, the adhesive on the sets sometimes gets very sticky and messy, and attracts dirt like a jar of honey to a hungry bear. It is like a dust and dirt magnet, forming a disgusting ring of black mess around the outside when you peel the set off... not to mention that the peeling the set off part is a painful mess of an encounter (I am a part middle-eastern man, with middle-eastern hair on my middle-eastern stomach, which can sometimes make the removal process a painful experience. Yes, I know, probably not as bad as a Brazilian, but come on... this is happening every few days here!)
When I read about these wipes I was intrigued, because for all the time I have been using an insulin pump I was just told to use baby oil to remove the adhesive... which works to an extent, but can also be a messy experience (especially on hair.) Enter these wipes. A quick swab around the outside of the infusion set is enough to unseat it from its death grip on your skin, and makes it easy to peel a side of it off... then continuing to wipe as you peel it unlocks it from your skin without any pain whatsoever. Any hairs in the way stay rooted and the entire thing just comes off without any mess. Then a quick swab around the circumference of where the set was removes any built up gunk and/or dust and dirt that was shellacked to your skin only moments ago. It is extremely gentle and does not burn or sting, and I was able to wipe over top of the open hole where the cannula was without any pain or discomfort.
These things are awesome. They smell strange, but its not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. It's a sort of sweet chemically smell, almost akin to antifreeze. Not that bad when you consider how magical these things really are... I am noticing much less irritation around previous infusion set locations and am noticing much less pain when inserting new infusion sets over areas where the adhesive had to be scrubbed off in the shower previously.
If you are hesitant about buying these for any reason, do yourself a favor and try a box. It will change your perspective on removing infusion sets. Looking back after trying these things, I have been to the hospital a couple times needing IV fluids and I cannot believe they don't use these at hospitals. They are so inexpensive and it would make removing IV dressings so much less painful! I might even keep some in my wallet just in case I get into an accident or something.

Great for infusion sets Mar 23, 2011
By Matthew Mcguire My daughter uses this to remove infusion sets and it works great. No pain removing the bandage. Works the best if used right before a shower or bath. All of the sticky residue comes off easier.
