I used this after surgery Jul 14, 2008
My doctor prescribed this to me after shoulder surgery for rotator cuff, labrum and bone spurs.
It was terrible. Out of all the different approaches to icing the shoulder, this was the worse!
Ice really helped, but this was a joke to make work. There's another product that runs closed loop water through an ice filled cooler, then into a shoulder wrap. All you have to do is squeeze a bulb on the tube and you get constant freezing cold water on demand.... and it's cheap!

Poor execution of a good idea. The wrap's exterior is cheap, as is the terry cloth interior. The pockets are too small to hold the "Flexi-Pac" ice packs, which are anything but flexible after a week in the freezer. The only quality aspect of this item is its strap.
