Best pillow I have ever used!!!!!!!!!!!! Oct 08, 2007
By Dr Bonnie I am a Chiropractor, and have had several neck injuries myself. I used the Linear Gravity Pillow for 20 years, and it needed to be replaced every 2 years or so. I was relatively happy with that pillow, but was open to trying a different pillow.
A patient asked me to get one of these pillows for her and I decided to buy two so that I could try it. From the first night it felt like it was made for me and it took no getting used to. This pillow feels like it supports my neck completely. It did take a little getting used to having the side sleeping portions so close to my ears when I was on my back, but it took less than a week for me to no longer notice that they were there. The side sleeping portions of this pillow are much better than any other pillow I have ever tried.
This is a foam pillow -- not a memory foam pillow. For proper support of the head during side-sleeping a memory foam pillow is just not going to do the job because your head will sink further into it as the pillow warms up. It is important for the head to be perpendicular to your shoulders when you are on your side. You do not want to have your head tilted either up or down.
This pillow would probably not be comfortable for someone with a reversed cervical curve, or an immobile neck. For most everyone else it is definitely a good place to start in your search for the "perfect" pillow.
This comes in several sizes from child, small, medium, large and extra large. The size depends upon the distance between the side of your head and your shoulder. For most average sized women the medium should be perfect.
I think that this is the absolute best pillow out there, and I have tried many over the years.

Love it! Dec 31, 2006
By K. White I have chonic neck pain and have been searching for the right pillow for years, I used to sleep with a stack of pillows beside my bed and a small stack of assorted foam peices beside my cervical pillow for adjustments to the other pillows...I literally dreamed of finding ONE pillow that would meet my comfort and pain tolerance needs. I found it with this pillow, ugly as sin, but beautiful in the eyes of a chronic sufferer. If you prefer to sleep with your head propped up while on your back, this pillow will not work for you (my husband hates it, but he does not have neck pain) It could use a little more room lengthwise for the side peices, if you yave a big noggan you might roll off the side. the head cradel takes some getting used to as it is a little restrictive, but overall I would say this is the most practical solution for people who have neck pain yet like to alternate positions throughout the night.

Ahhhh Dec 31, 2006
By Becky Jones Since my cervical fusion, I've struggled to sleep comfortably. This pillow is an answer to my prayers. I wish I'd bought this pillow first--I wasted hundreds of dollars trying all the others.

"no more neck pain"
For months I have been waking up with neck, shoulder, and back pain and stiffness. Last month I purchased the Therapeutica Sleeping Pillow Therapeutica Sleeping Pillow - Average Adult Size. After the first night I slept on it I awoke with no stiffness and no pain. This pillow is really wonderful. I like it so much that I am ordering one for my spouse.

Good for people with back or neck problems Jan 21, 2010
By J. Thomas I bought this pillow 10 years ago and it has been indispensable to me! I have to admit it took some getting used to. It felt abnormally firm compared to other pillows I had used, and the shape it so strange, but I stuck with it because my chiropractor promised it would make such a difference. I can't stand a normal pillow now. Simply using this pillow has decreased a large amount of my back and neck pain. It has held up well for ten years, but I think it is time for a new one. That is a good long life for a pillow. I highly highly recommend this if you have back and neck pain when you wake up in the morning.
