5Great product  Jan 14, 2009
By M. Gormanson
I've been having terrible calf strain from running and other various activities. I got the stick for Christmas and it has been amazing! The best time to use it is directly after exercising to get the lactic acid moving to help prevent sore muscles. I also take it into the shower with me and use it after I've been in about 10-15 minutes (or warm up my muscles with a heating pad prior to rolling). I wouldn't use this on "cold" muscles. All-in-all it is a great product. I also have a foam roller I got from the sports store which works great on tight IT Bands and sore hamstrings.

3Works as advertised, but smells bad...  Oct 03, 2010
By dr
As a runner, I'm always sore. This stick does a good job of smoothing out the achy and stiff areas and seems to help me recover quicker. The size is great (I haul it in my backpack to work). My only criticism (as others have pointed out) is the handle smell. I've tried cleaning it, airing it out, nothing works. The smell gets on your hands when you use it so I always have to wash after. Makes my wife nauseous.

5The Stick is Fantastic  Feb 13, 2008

The Stick is exactly what my Chiropractor uses on my neck to relive the muscle tension. It is fantastic.

2Too Much Flex  Jan 17, 2011
By William
I own the original "Stick" and bought this one specifically for traveling. Way too much flex for anyone who wants to get deep myofascial release. They do offer a "stiff" stick but at a ludicrous price of $48, I'll pass. Oh well...

4Great little tool  Aug 03, 2010
By A. Grad

I like a good deep massage after my workout.

This little tool works fine.

The only thing that I wish was different is its flexibility. Because it is too flexible (for me) it takes more effort to apply more pressure.

Other than that is fantastic for legs, arms, shoulders.

Combine this with the thera cane and you are set!
