4great for travel or when spouse is using the full-size stick  Jan 10, 2010
By Douglas L. Chalker "Doug C"
The Stick is one of the greatest tools for working out the knots in sore muscles. The little stick is great for travel. One reason I got it is that I always have TSA look oddly at my full size stick when I have tried to take it with me in carry-on luggage. I haven't tried to get the little stick through airport security yet, but I expect fewer delays. It massages lower legs (Calves, Shins, etc) as well as the larger, but doesn't have the same leverage for hamstrings and hips as the larger sticks. In some ways it is better for calves as it has a nice flexibility.

4It delivers just what I wanted.  Aug 14, 2010
By Lincoln County MT "Focused on pinecones"
I like this little stick. It's perfect for what I wanted and delivers the massage I was hoping for. The straight no give stick is much longer and does not flex and has never worked right for my needs. This gets my calf muscles and shins just right. The flex helps. I don't care of the handles vary or not it's how it works and functions. I didn't realize it would have broken up rollers but that's one of the ways it manages to work better than the other style. And the small size is perfect for me too.
Vendor packed it in to too big a box however. Otherwise it is what it is and expected what I got and hope it lasts a long time.

I've had it over a year now...actually going on two. And has held up. Still prefer it over the non-flexible tool too. I understand they make this in a larger size but seem to lean towards picking up a second one just like this rather than the larger size. I think perhaps for a larger person they might prefer a bit bigger one. But for me...it's just right for the job.

5Works great on sore calves  Jan 11, 2011
By Brandy
I bought this because I have started training for a half marathon and was getting cramps in my calves. I have used it for a while now and love it. I also use it for my hamstrings, quads, and even my neck. Definitely large enough to use for all over your body, no reason to buy the larger stick, at least for what I use it for.

3Handles not as shown in picture  Feb 10, 2010
By R. Clausen
"The Stick"'s manufacturer elected to change the handles of the Little Stick. The ones in the picture were much more ergonomic, and looked easier on the hands. The ones in the provided product not very comfortable.

5Portable and perfect  Jan 27, 2012
By Got Watches?
This little stick fits in a backpack or small gym bag. It is perfect for use on calf muscles and quadriceps, and it really works for myofacial release on those areas where the foam roller is awkward.
