Stopped the burning and aching Aug 26, 2008
By L. Brock I'm an RN, a grandmother, and a wanna-be runner. But my foot (the part of the ball near the toes) was screaming with pain and burning after each short attempt of jog/walking. I ordered slipos after trying other ball of foot pads. The toe anchor prompted me to give them a try plus the promise of thinness. The other brands had been too bulky and shifted away from the sore area when I walked. This product is great (I'm ordering more now, after several months of daily wear, the toe anchor stretches out a bit.) Don't be put off by the thinness when the product arrives, I'm convinced there must be concentrated power in the gel layer. Also I have twin toes (the 2nd and 3rd toes are connected) and can't wear the slipos as shown in the picture. I simply flipped it over and anchored it to my 4th toe instead. Still works great. A quick wash, just like washing your hands, and they dry over night.

Simple is so much better! Sep 17, 2008

Have been searching for something not too hard, not too plastic, inserts don't work for long - when I came upon these cushions. Great little idea, works like a charm on the ball of your foot. Relieves burning, callous build up, feels great! I suggest them even IF you have no forefoot burning or problems. Slip them over a toe, away you go!

Great product! Jul 25, 2011

I've been having foot pain for months, and have tried every shoe insert and metatarsal pad that I could find. None of them are effective, and most are too thick and make my foot hurt even more. But these little wonders do the trick! My foot is so much better after only a couple of days of wearing these pads. They are thin, not bulky, stay in place, and the toe attachment is barely noticable. They are hand washable. I'm buying more of them, for sure.

help for metatarsal pain Jun 28, 2011
By Sandman I have had metatarsal pain problems. When I switched to a low impact running shoe for forefoot strikes, I was worried about the lack of padding. I think these help a lot. Gives just that bit more extra cushioning.

Tried these but they slipped in my shoe and didn't really do much. Wouldn't use them again.
