great pillow, but poorly designed case Aug 26, 2010

I have been looking for a firm, cool, supportive pillow that would not disturb my full face bipap mask. I have purchased many pillows and this is the closest match to my needs. The pillow case was difficult to put on and a poor fit to the basic pillow. I wish the pillow were a little smaller, but the cutout for the mask and the height of the pillow is perfect for side sleepers. A warning to purchasers - it is a FIRM pillow. I have only used it for one night and I am wondering if I can cut a small dent in the foam for my ear. All in all though, I would certainly recommend it for any full face mask users who want a FIRM foam pillow.

Have been using the pillow for about a month now and have no complaints so far. It is very firm which for me is exactly what I was looking for. Generally I sleep on my back and works fine and when sleeping on my side the recessed indentation of the pillow works well so the tubing does not get hung up. Highly recommend for individuals that like or need firm pillow.

Bought this for my husband who sleeps currently with a foam pillow (and 4 others) and a cpap. he is a big guy about 300lbs 6'6. I was very excited to get this for him since he does knock around his cpap mask in the middle of the night and gets very hot the cool pillow looked like a good call. This pillow is "cool" as in it keeps cool even when he is getting hot. However the pillow is very firm. It isn't like the other foam pillows we have that mold to your head. My husband being so large shouldn't have had a hard time sinking into the pillow an having it form around his neck and head. This is very light (unlike our others) but about rock solid. If you like a VERY firm pillow this is the one for you. I guess it just isnt at all like our other foam pillows. The cpap design portion is very unique and does function which is why this is 2 stars not 1, its just to firm to keep him using this pillow at night. He won't let me return it since it was a gift from me, otherwise I would and just ordered him one from the company store.

This pillow looked so different and flat I thought it was never going to be comfortable. How wrong to just a pillow by its shape. I love it and have no difficulty sleeping with my CPap. Amazing
