1Bunion splint bunk  Jan 12, 2010

I can't believe that I was charged over $30 for this flimsy piece of fabric with some velcro. I have used it several nights and i just don't see how it can work unless you pull the velcro so tight that it cuts off circulation. What a rip off!

1Collecting Dust  Dec 28, 2010

My bunions aren't bad yet so I figured I could fend off giving up heels or requiring surgery by using this splint. I bought a left and a right. I can't say if it works or not. They were so uncomfortable I started out wearing them one night, pulled them off sometime during the night and never tried them again. Besides being uncomfortable it just didn't seem like it could be doing much...but maybe it's just me. At the least, I suggest you rig something up to decide if you can sleep with your big toe being pulled away from the others before you invest the $ in this splint.
