The 12 inch is the perfect size for large muscles such as the shoulder and hips. It's easy to read. It worked perfectly for my classes. Highly recommend if your studying occupational or physical therapy.

If you've seen or used one goniometer, you've seen or used them all. Except this one, which has a big, blue, honking "Prestige Medical" logo on the protractor dial. (There's sure no logo in the picture of the product.) This looks like something that would be handed out for free at a trade show. I'm wondering why I was charged for the privilege of advertising for this company? It's too much trouble to send back, and it works fine, so I'll keep it. But if you want a plain-vanilla 12-inch goniometer, don't buy it from this vendor.

This 12-inch goniometer has been very helpful in monitoring my progress as I recover from knee replacement surgery. It was a very low cost but appears to be the same quality as the one used at physical therapy. The 12-inch length is easier to line up correctly on my hip and ankle than a shorter one would be.

When I ordered this 12" Goniometer I was not sure if I should of gotten a smaller size. Now I am very pleased that I ordered the larger size as it is easy to use and read. I recently had bilateral knee replacements and here in Mexico none of the PT had a goniometer to measure my range of motion. There is a lot of material on the internet on how to use it but it would be nice if they would include it in the package. Presently you will just receive the product with no information.
