Cure for plantar fasciitis Mar 01, 2012
By Luister To ease the pain in my heal, I tried many things. Night splints helped the first steps of the day, but was not a long lasting solution. My chiropractor tried ultrasound and infrared, which feels good, but didn't have any effect on the problem. Taking anti-inflammatories for the rest of my days is not appealing.
There are some stretches to use, but nothing worked for me as well as standing on a slant board for five minutes a day. They can be worked into various daily routines, such as my watching the local news. The other unit is down in the exercise room. Apparently, I will need to use them for the rest of my life. Whenever I slack for a few days, the pain begins to come back.
If you are thinking that $25 is a lot of money for some foam, I agree. Keep in mind that these two units are cheaper than the single plastic and wood versions. This foam is very comfortable, and I use them bare foot, or with shoes. I don't have to worry about stubbing my toe on the one in the living room.
The only annoyance is that they are freshly cut and packaged, and are covered with bits of foam. I shook them off initially, but they will continue to get onto everything for at least a while. I can live with it.

Great for Plantar Faschiitis Jan 19, 2012
By J. Troutner Bought this for my friends and family who have plantar faschiitis. I have even packed one of these on my luggage when traveling. Great product and so comfortable to stand on. Has been the only thing that has really treated my plantar faschiiitis and is way more portable than the wood incline board I have.
Great value May 18, 2012
By s b wilson Easy to use, keep clean and love that it's portable. Great value for the money. Recommended it to my physical therapist as a resource.
wooden slant board is much better... May 08, 2012
By Coffee Lover as for me, the foam is okay for minor heel stretching. this is good if you can't afford the wooden slant boards, but i rather buy the wooden one than foam. it starts to shed small black foam particles on the floor. have them for about a few months. still in great shape, but i don't think they'll last as long as a foam roller.
OPTP Slant Board Mar 31, 2012
By J. Poole Was a little apprehensive about this being foam but it works great giving a good stretch. Price is reasonable. No problems.
