Great product..Great price! Oct 08, 2009

"B's mom"
This is one of the best things invented for kids with sensory integration issues. My son is mildly autistic and has ADHD like symptoms and is a sensory seeker. This simple addition to his seat in the classroom provides him the sensory input he needs to attend better. He's been getting lots of good reports from his teacher. Since it's portable, it comes home with him, and we can use it for homework too! All kids benefit from a sensory diet, and the disc-o-sit can provide multiple sensory benefits.

Recommended by an occupational therapist May 08, 2010
By Debra L. Karplus, occupational therapist I've used the Disc O Sit with one of my little first grade wigglers. He seems to like it and it helps him stay in his seat while doing deskwork at school.

Useful product Mar 11, 2011
By ReviewHer We bought two seats, one that stays at school, the other stays in my son's chair for mealtime. He is 8 and has ADHD and sensory processing disorder. After trying it in my son's classroom, his teacher said she wished she had 22 of them (one for each student) because of the way it settled him down and increased his concentration. The results are not as miraculous during meals at home, but it is helping. Those are unmedicated times that are typically more challenging to begin with.

A Favorite Dec 10, 2011
By Trudy Students love these cushions that help them sit and learn. Teachers are happy with the results. The most difficult part is that they are heard to clean and tend to get marked over time.

Works wonders! Jan 12, 2012
By Mommyof3RN I bought this for my son who was recently diagnosed with sensory itegration disorder. I saw immediate results when we put it in his seat for dinner. He could never sit still, always sitting on the edge of the chair, sometimes fell out, also at times would curl up in a ball during meal time. The very first time he sat on this, he just was able to sit and eat dinner, the entire meal! Love this. We are going to be buying one to send to preschool with him. He also enjoys putting it on the ground and balancing on it. For the results I saw, this is worth every penny. We call it our "super-hero, sit still seat." Love it!
