Nosey cups are used to make it easier to finish a drink. If a person is not able to tilt their head back this cup makes it helpful to drink. The opening in the cup can go over the nose, as they drink, and the water or juice can be consumed and the glass emptied. The cup is secure in the hand and has a slight ridge so the cup does not easily slip. We don't have a dishwasher, we only hand wash. Very pleased with the cup. They are used every day.
