This container is enough to last a couple of years. One application on the fingertips will help improve a basketball grip. Too much and you'll end up leaving what looks like boogers on the ball; a funny way to freakout the other players and stop the game.
In any case, a great product that I've used for years. The jar is sturdy enough and the lid is easy to open even when stickem is stuck on the lid.

Not just for bats anymore Jan 11, 2012

As a youth athlete I was never really into putting stuff like pine tar on my bats. A few years ago I had a guitar teacher turn me on to this stuff called Gorilla Snot. It was a grip resin that they sold in the drum section at Guitar Center. Drummers used to to hold on to their sticks and guitar players used it to hold onto their picks. They don't sell it anymore so I was looking for a replacement product. This wax based paste is perfect. That pick is going nowhere! By the time the set is over the Stickem is mostly gone. No mess.
