5Mueller elbow pads  Nov 22, 2009
By S. Webb "StealthZ"
I have been using these since June for elbow protection while 'caving' (a more serious version of spelunking). I am absolutely amazed how well these things are holding up. On one trip I spent over 7 hrs crawling hands and knees over rocks and mud. While cleaning up at the end of the trip, I was sure that I would find them to be TRASHED, but to my surprise, they hardly showed any wear at all! My knee pads that were specially built for caving, were torn at the seams after only one trip. Even after multiple trips, these elbow pads look near new and the elastic is still tight. I am so impressed with the durability, I have ordered 2 more sets - one as a back up, and one for a friend.

4Good comfort, but a bit stiff  Aug 19, 2010
By James Wishman
I use these elbow pads for playing paintball in the outdoors. They offer good coverage and are certainly very comfortable when my elbows make contact with the ground, however the pads are a little stiff and don't bend quite as easy as I'd like.

4Not nirvana but acceptable  Aug 11, 2011
By L. J. Lowy
To be clear, I bought these to ease the pain my elbows encounter from armed desk chairs all day, so I can't address their efficacy with more rough pursuits such as spelunking. Overall, they help but the incorporated pads are not particularly soft and I would probably benefit from a more cushy material. Also, the sleeves themselves are a little stiff. Don't expect a cotton feel. More like polyester. Not uncomfortable but definitely nice to take off when done. Lastly, though it's not clear in the description, this is for a pair of pads. I ordered not knowing whether the picture was representative but I'm happy to say it is.

5Good For My needs - Highly Recommended  Sep 10, 2011
By C. F. Hill "CFH"
These Mueller Elbow Pads are both tough and comfortable, a combination that has been hard to find. We picked up two sets for my son and I to use at the the range for prone position shooting and they performed better than expected. The material is good quality but they are a little stiff and take some wearing in before they become really comfortable.

These work well for my needs, recommended!

3Mueller elbow pads  Apr 09, 2012
By arlene
I got these to protect the elbow for ulnar nerve neuralgia. The fit on the upper arm is too tight as well at the elbow bend.
I get a lot of redness so I am limiting its use.
