Kinesio® Tex Tape Color: Merchant choice - 2" x 5.5yd. (5cm x 5m) two rolls. Kinesio Athletic Tape is a modality treatment based on the body's own natural healing process. The major effects of Kinesio taping are correcting muscle function, improving circulation of blood and lymph, relieving pain, and repositioning the subluxation joints. Kinesio Athletic Tape is latex free, and is durable for 3-4 days of use. Kinesio Athletic Tape is an elastic athletic tape of extremely high quality, and was specifically designed by Dr. Kenzo Kase to provide exceptional results for Kinesio Taping. Kinesio Athletic Tape was designed to be worn on the skin for an extended period of time (3-4 days) without irritation, as well as during strenuous exercise or hydrotherapy. The adhesive is not only heat activated, but also will not leave any residue when removed. Kinesio® Athletic Tape is FDA approved, and patent protected. Kinesio® Athletic Tape has an elasticity of 140%, which matches the same basic elasticity found in ones skin and muscles, allowing Kinesio taping to work with your body. This provides full range of motion, support, and stability, without adversely affecting the natural range of motion. For excellent results, Kinesio® Athletic Tape should be applied at least 30 minutes prior to exercise in order for the heat activated adhesive to adjust and bond with the skin temperature. Ingredients: Kinesio Taping® alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. The taped portion forms convolutions in the skin, thus increasing interstitial space. The result is that pressure and irritation are taken off the neural and sensory receptors, alleviating pain. Pressure is gradually taken off the lymphatic system, allowing it to channel more freely.
Indications: he Kinesio Taping® Method involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and give support or to prevent over-contraction. The first technique gives the practitioner the opportunity to actually give support while maintaining full range of motion. This enables the individual to participate in their normal physical activity with functional assistance. The second technique, which is most commonly used in the acute stage of rehabilitation, helps prevent overuse or over-contraction and helps provide facilitation of lymph flow for an entire 24 hour period. Correctional techniques include mechanical, lymphatic, ligament/tendon, fascia, space and functional. Kinesio Tex® Tape can be used in conjunction with other therapies, including cryotherapy, hydrotherapy, massage therapy, and electrical stimulation.

Kinesio Tex tape is wonderful. I sprang my knee and it was been a hard road to recovery but with Kinesio taping and therapy I am back working out with very little to no swelling and soreness. GREAT PRODUCT for pain management!! I am hooked!!

I had a total knee replacement in June of this year. Once I started physical therapy, my therapist used this tape over my incision and on areas of the knee to help reduce swelling, promote circulation and help the scar heal smoothly. He also recommended I try getting it through amazon as it would be cheaper for me. I had an excellent response from this distributor, they even called me to verify what color of tape I would like. I can recommend it!!!!!!!!!!

5Now my son can play the game he loves.  Jul 28, 2008
Our 11-year-old had to stop playing soccer because, to put it simply, his leg bones grew faster than his tendons could keep up and he was suffering from intense heal and achilles pain any time he ran. Then, a physical therapist friend applied the Kinesio tape to his heals and he was able to play a full game this past Saturday. The concept is that he will get better through keeping those muscles and tendons active rather than keeping them in stasis.

I have never heard of Kinesio Tape before, until I broke my ankle and had to have surgery to repair the damage. My Dr. had me go to physical therapy to help recover. I had a lot of pain and swelling from my surgery. My therapist said she wanted to try the tape on me and I told her that I'm open to anything at this point. It was like a miracle, after just a few hours of wearing the Kinesio Tape, the swelling had gone down and the pain had lessened. I'm still going to physical therapy and I'm still getting taped, and it has truly helped me with the pain and swelling and would recommend this tape to anyone who has a lot of pain and swelling to due injuries. I bought this tape because I'm going on vacation and I wanted to have some on hand so I could re-tape my ankle if I happen to wear the tape off. The tape will last for days, you can take a shower and it won't come off.
