This item was purchased to replace one just like it that my Dad had just plain worn out. He uses it daily and the old one has been going strong for over 20 years! It is salon quality and very durable! This one is a bit smaller and much lighter than the first one he had, making it easier to handle. The fleece cover was a nice bonus. As I have found on other items here, the price was unbeatable.

I started seeing a new chiropractor 4 months ago. During the correction, I heard him flip a switch, and he applied what sounded like an electric car buffer to my back. I was in bliss for 5 minutes!! When he was done I asked him about it, hoping I wasn't going to have to impersonate a Doctor to order from some medical supply company. He said he had been using it for over 10 years. He claimed to have only bought 3 over that time span. Used in a practice type setting where it's run on multiple patients,8 hours a day, 5 days a week. You can do the math, but to me that says I probably won't be buying a new one anytime this decade!
It's super easy to use. Unless you need it for back pain, like me, you can massage your achy muscles all by your lonesome. My wife has Fibromyalgia and arthritis in her hands. So manual back massages for me are a rarity, not to mention when I need the deep tissues to get massaged she can't comfortably apply enough pressure...Enter Genie Rub.
It does all the work for us. She can just hold it in one spot, lean in if I need more pressure, and the machine does the rest. It's amazing!!!! Comes with easy to read instructions on how to use it on different muscles/body parts and has a few nifty attachments you can buy separately. It works like a charm without the attachments.
Price varies by vendor, shop around. When I bought it, prices ranged from 160-250. I would have still bought it, but it's nice to save a few bucks.
If I could have a bed built with this thing in the mattress I would never get out of bed!
I've been thinking of ways I can attach it to my chair at work, but then I might never leave!
So again, quality product, built to last and recommended by my wife, chiropractor and me!

My 86-year-old mother fell in love with my old Jeanie Rub Massager so I bought this one for her as a birthday present. She is thrilled with it!! Beside giving a great over-all massage, it does wonders in reviving tired feet.
