I replaced them with the latex ones instead Nov 07, 2009
By Karin Bee I don't have a latex alergy, but these were a bit less expensive so I purchased them. I found that they kinda have a funny smell that never really goes away, and after a few workouts one of them broke in half. Anyway, I still use one of them, but I really prefer to use the latex ones instead.

Great product, great price - These work! Nov 04, 2008
By Steve Jameson Product was inexpensive and works just like the ones I got from my physical therapist. Three different resistance levels and latex free which is nice as latex irritates my skin a bit.
Shipping was also quick.

Latex free Nov 14, 2010

"MD, MPH - Adolescent Health"
I purchased these for use in my office at work. Had to be latex free as I work in a children's hospital with a lot of kids with latex allergies.
Generally, these work well. I have a few toning exercises I use for when I need to stretch or burn a few calories because I've been at my desk for too long. I find them as nice to use as other therabands I've used at the gym.
Note that these don't have handles - they're essentially a long strip of stretchy non-latex material. Other bands I've seen are much shorter, but as some reviewers noted, if it's not long enough, it's not. You could always cut them down with a pair of scissors.
I haven't had any problems with them breaking. My biggest complaint is that they have a slightly sweet smell which is still present even after 4 months. If I leave it out of the package on my desk, I can note the odor when I walk into my office. It's not unpleasant, but I'm giving them one less star for it. Overall a great product for the price.

REALLY strong Jun 16, 2009
By Penelope Rufus These are not your flimsy exercise bands. They are really strong, and seem very durable. They should last a long time.

It took the seller a while before shipping these off to me. Just when I was about to contact them they came that very day. I've used them for a couple of days now. I think for my purpose they will do fine. I am allergic to latex and some latex is worse than others. I never know when something will trigger a problem or give me a slide. But this is the soft type product that seems to be dangerous for me at times. They warn you if you are allergic to latex and I've been diagnosed since 1953 when the doctors could not use any tape products to hold bandages on my head wound following being hit by a car at 3 years old. (It's been an interesting life since....soles of keds shoes burning the skin off my feet, latex backed throw rugs drying out and turning to powders that make me ill and when in contact with my skin triggers sores, and of course no latex gloves and I worked in a lab...nitral to the rescue. And more.) So these seem sturdy and as far as I can tell pretty much the same as the latex models. Perhaps a wee bit less stretchy as the firmness goes up or as it's called here heavy rating increases. I want to use for resistance excercises and occasionally need to go through some wrist and elbow excercises for past injuries the physical therapist taught me years ago. These look to be every bit as good perhaps even better....non of that powdery substance I have to watch out for on latex bands.
