My 26 year old son was diagnosed with a herniated C6 disc and advised to "give it time" by a neurosurgeon. Some improvement occurred, but my (uninsured) son was still experiencing numbness in his left hand and partial numbness in the right. My chiropractor suggested Dr. Bob's collar, in addition to a new pillow (got that at walmart ). He started getting relief from the numbness within a day. Excellent product, very easy and functional to use.

I tried a prototype of this device when Dr. Bob was developing it (I was one of his patients back in the day) and it was (and still is) the best in terms of quality and design. I suffer from migraines and chronic neck/shoulder pain and using this on a daily basis reduced the frequency of the migraines and pretty much gets rid of the chronic shoulder/etc. pain.

The imitations may be cheaper, but after having one literally explode while I was inflating it after one month of use (imagine the sound of a tire blowing out right next to your ear), I will never try one again. The only reason I had to replace my seven year old Dr. Bob's device was because of an act of feline indiscretion that you just don't need to know about...
