5Amazing Good Stuff - actually softens hard skin  May 25, 2008
By S. Cliff
This stuff is in a tube, and gets squeezes out much like toothpaste, except it is very smooth and creamy. It sticks to skin and immediately begins soaking in. You will need soap and water to get it off your fingers. Little to no fragrance.

My experience: When used daily on hard foot skin, the skin actually softens.
Before, I had hard skin around my heels that was cracking in places.
Before, I had hard skin on the outside of the ball of my feet.
Before, I had hard skin on the inside of my big toes and various places on other toes.

I applied this balm by putting just a small dab (you know, more than a pinch, but less than a ¼ teaspoon.) on my finger and then lightly rubbing it onto the hard places. Rub it for a few seconds and wipe away all the excess to go to the next place. After a few days, things were more pliable. Within a couple of weeks, all of the areas were softer, and the cracks in my heels were smaller and going away. It seems to work better if applied after a shower, but I don't always wait for a shower to use it. I now use it on any area that starts getting hard again.

I have been very amazed at how well it works. I have been using it for about 6 months, including through the winter, and my feet are in great shape, better than they have been for years. I cannot believe how much softer the skin is. And my first 4oz tube is about ¾ used--it goes a long ways.

I have peripheral neuropathy which identifies me with those who have diabetes, have problems controlling blood sugar levels, am morbidly obese, and generally in poor health. I have less pain in my feet because of the softer skin absorbs bumps in my shoes and walking surfaces. YES, LESS PAIN! This is not a cure for peripheral neuropathy and it does not heal the nerves. But softer feet hurt less. If this stuff will work for me, it will probably work for most anyone.

-- I have nothing to gain in any way from this favorable review. I just hope some folks with foot problems will find some relief. Peripheral neuropathy is vicious. Anything that helps needs to be shared.

5flexitol foot balm  Jul 11, 2010
By Mary
I have had callused, cracked heels for as long as I can remember. I've used petroleum jelly, bag balm and various other foot & heel balms without much improvement.I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and realizing the importance of foot care, I got this Flexitol Diabetic foot balm 3 days ago. I saw improvement after I used it the first time, and now, after using it twice/day for 3 days, my heels are softer than they have ever been! The calluses are gone and the cracks are almost healed. It is absolutely amazing! I have ordered two more tubes of this "miracle" foot balm and will never be without it!

5BEST EVER!!!!!!!  Jan 26, 2012
By Court...
i am not a diabetic and i dont know why i picked it up. i guess because of the before and after picture on the box. PEOPLE this stuff works completely in like one week. i starting seeing results the next day. my heels are bad because of exercising and walking all day work and they bleed sometimes depending on how hard i walk. and i put this creme on at night and after i shower and i put on socks afterwards. the lotion is pretty thick and has a lotion type of smell and it gets in the crack. I LOVE THIS. my only problem is that i stopped using it and my heels got back cracked, so now im purchasing some more.

4Flexitol Diabetic Foot Balm - 4 Oz  Jan 14, 2012
By Michael Adler
Flexitol Heel Balm works well and you cannot ask for more. That's the good news. One big bummer: the price practically doubled between my last purchase 2 or 3 months ago and this one. This cost the product a star in my rating, which otherwise would have been a 5.

5Foot Balm  Jun 15, 2010
By P. Lisenby "Chocomom"
This is the BEST foot cream, and this formula is hard to find. Usually, if I find it in a store, what I find is heel balm, but I like the foot balm. I'm not diabetic, but this is the best stuff ever!
