The best shoulder wrap I could find Jan 30, 2011
By Blake T. Since I'm a physical therapist I spent a lot of time researching an ice wrap that could target the usual problem areas with conditions, such as rotator cuff tendonitis, bursitis, etc. I struck out with the Elite-Kold Adult Shoulder Ice Wrap. Although this is nearly twice as much, it is worth the price. It stays cold long enough for a treatment with one layer between the skin, 15 to 20 minutes, conforms to the shoulder girdle, and targets the typical areas where the majority of symptoms are. The best aspect of this wrap is it doesn't have any ice packs that you need to take out and that move when you put it on. It has gel will mold to your shoulder. Also, you can easily put it on yourself. I found it cheaper on a different site, but the price has come down since I bought it. I highly recommend this wrap.

Great buy! Jun 22, 2011
By XYZ Before buying this product, I was using something my doctor gave me following surgery. However, I knew there was a better way to ice my surgically repaired shoulder. That's when I started searching for a shoulder ice/heat combo strap. There were several to choose from initially, but once I read the reviews and read the product description of the Elasto Gel Shoulder Sleeve, I wanted it. In fact, I ordered it immediately. This is by far a very effective and well put together product. It takes about 2 hrs in the freezer for the sleeve to get cold. Once on, you can wear it for about 30 to 45 minutes for therapy. However, its recommended to ice any injury for 15-20 minutes. The fact that you can put the sleeve on without any assistance is a plus. And one important feature he Elasto Shoulder Sleeve has I appreciated the most was the locking clips you use to clamp the sleeve across your shoulder. This allow the sleeve to remain in place, as well as give you that constant therapy without having to re-adjust.
Overall, the Elasto Gel Shouder sleeve provides the needed care as well as perfect fit to cover a shoulder injury for any medical reason. I would recommend this product to athletes, coaches, even hospitals or surgeons that repair torn totator cuffs. It gets the job done! It's virtually good for anyone that need to ice their shoulder effectively.

Conforming shoulder ice pack is a good product Nov 18, 2010

This is a fairly expensive product, but for anyone who works out a lot and does quite a bit with their shoulders (lifting, pullups, etc.) and has shoulder issues, icing is a must. I ice after every workout. The unit is easy to put on and is certainly cold enough. It conforms extremely well, better than anything else I've used. The only fault is how long it stays cold. You get excellent cold for 12 minutes or so and then it tapers off. Don't count on any useful cold after about 20 minutes.

Slips a little off the shoulder Dec 01, 2008

I had an AC separation and wear this after I work out. It slips a little off the top portion of my shoulder but is generally good. I probably should have purchased just another regular elastogel product that I can use on other parts of my body. There is no way to use this anywhere else other than the shoulder.

Not bad Mar 31, 2011
By ryesteve I bought this based on the reviews, as it seemed to be the one that is most highly-regarded. It may very well be the best one, but I can't say I'm totally thrilled with it.
Pros: Easy enough to get on by yourself; feels hefty and durable; self-contained; molds very nicely to your shoulder
Cons: I'm just not convinced it gets cold enough and stays cold for long enough. Ice is going to generate cold until it melts; with these gel packs, as soon as you put it on, your body heat starts to warm it up. You don't get the constant cold you'd get from ice. But until someone can make flexible ice, overall, this might be the best solution for applying cold to your shoulder.
