It will not burst or leak, so it is better able to handle activities and wear and tear better than traditional hot or cold gel packs.Elasto-Gel Hot/Cold Therapy Wraps may be used for hot/cold therapy. Elasto-Gel products may be heated in a conventional or microwave oven, crock pot, or Hydrocollator, and cooled or stored in a refrigerator or freezer. The gel can be heated or autoclaved at temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, or freezed at temperatures as low as -20 degrees. The wrap will remain cool for 20 to 40 minutes, and will provide heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
