Awesome thingy Nov 05, 2004
By Shawn Beauchaine This thing is awesome, and will make your arm fall clear off. You spin it around with your wrists, making the flywheel spin faster and faster. It has a gauge on top to tell you the top RPMs, and is great for little competitions.
Warning: Do not spin it and then throw it against a concrete wall, as it will bust open and the flywheel will certainly kill someone.

cool little gadget Feb 23, 2008
By Andrew M. Christopher I just got my power ball a couple days ago and I love it now, but I hated it when I first took it out of the packaging. It took me around 40 minutes to get the thing started and then some more time to figure out how to get the gyro up to speed. As soon as I figured it out though, I'm having a lot of fun with my new gyro. It's definitely a head turner when people wander into my dorm room. They all want to try it. And it gives you a good burn in your forearms and hands. I can't even use it today because my forearms are tired from the previous two days, but I want to! Best $0 I've ever spent with my amazon gift card. Do yourself a favor and keep it in its packaging when you're not using it or it might get dust in it, making the rotor sluggish. Happy consuming.

Fun Toy Jul 30, 2007
By Aaron G. Freshwater I've enjoyed the power ball quite a bit. It took me a while to get the hang of it, having nearly smashed it in frustration the first day I got it (walk away...). I have carpal tunnel which it has neither hurt nor helped. It's been all the rage at the office -- I think about 20 people have gotten one now, and we are all driving our fellow office-mates crazy...or to buy one of their own.

Fun and relaxing Oct 05, 2007
By ExE122 This is a very neat little gyroscopic device that is difficult to put down once you start it up. It's also fun to watch other people try it for the first time (takes a little while before you can get the rhythm).
While your hands and wrists do get a little bit of a workout with it, it doesn't exactly compare with a trip to the gym. However, I've still found this to be good enough to keep your grip strong.
This is also a great way to relieve some stress. The lights and the hum that you get with a steady rhythm are quite relaxing. It's a nice little excersize to have while watching TV or killing some time!
My opinion is that it's worth getting one of these, even if it's just as something to keep on your coffee table.

I couldn;t get it going at first...someone at work picked it up and immediately got it going, now I can do it!!! It's great for arthritic hands. I put a counter on it and have been trying to outdo myself. -check it out on youtube
