5Coverlet Latex-free Adhesive Dressing Strips  Aug 13, 2006
By Joan L. Wood
Coverlet Bandaids are the very best I have ever found. They stay on in all kinds of conditions unlike other brands. They are latex-free so do not cause skin reactions. They are used in hospitals and in industrial situations. I have not found them available in most retail stores.

5NICE! REAL NICE!  Sep 25, 2007
By B. King "Happy Shopper"
My son hurt his finger today at school. He was bleeding pretty bad from his cut and a regular bandage could not adhere and stop the blood from coming through. The teacher sent him to the nurse and she put the Coverlet Adhesive Dressing on his finger - one of the finger bandage shapes - and it is real nice. I don't see any blood coming through and it is very flexible and stuck on his finger securely. Usually with the store brands he needs replacement bandages often because they fall off and they also don't "breath" and flex as well. So, from first hand (or finger in this case) experience, these are EXCELLENT bandages.

5BEST BANDAGE FOR RUNNERS!!!!! (and everyone else)  Oct 04, 2010
By Skichic56
Absolutely PERFECT bandage, and I am very picky. I am a distance runner, and no other bandage even comes close to how well these perform. They do not slide, even after 15+ miles, have cloth/linen wings that are very flexible and stretchy (unlike the 'plastic' bandaid brand), and come in a variety of sizes (though I usually just purchase the 100 count box of 1x3, and double up if I have to cover a larger area). This way it's cheaper than buying multiple box sizes, since it takes a while to get through 100 bandages anyway. I've even found that they will stay on for a few days without needing replaced (though I wouldn't recommend this). The only potential negative I could see is that sometimes the 'gumminess' of the adhesive is left behind; however, this is a small price to pay to actually have something that works. I cannot stress enough how these have changed my running life. These are also suitable for blister prophylaxis, ie. if you're wearing your summer sandals for the first few times and your feet aren't used to them. I also backpack, and these are perfect for that as well. I would also highly recommend '2nd skin' gel squares for runners and hikers and for larger, 'juicier' blisters to give them an extra bit of cushion. I prefer 2nd skin to moleskin, if you can afford it, but regardless the Coverlet bandages are a staple.

5wonderful bandaids  Feb 03, 2010
By Julie Abramson
My dermatologist told me that these bandaids were of much higher quality than those available in the drugstore, and she was right. They stay on much better than the usual. However, they do not have a box of mixed sizes so you need to buy several boxes to get the variety you are likely to need. This makes it rather expensive and you get enough bandaids to last several years, depending on your family needs. I think it is worth it and am delighted with my purchase since I am a gardener and get lots of little scrapes and cuts.

5Use what the doctors use!  Jul 31, 2008
By S. Lawler
I am allergic to Band-aid brand band-aids (the adhesive AND the center pad). I noticed that the bandaids put on me after my blood gets drawn at my doctor's office did not irritate me. So I asked them what they used.
It was Coverlet brand. I could not find this brand on store shelves.

With all the allergic responses to various substances these days, it's nice to know these are available to we sensitive-skinned individuals!
