DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF TRASH! Oct 11, 2011

We reluctantly purchased this fanciful looking Conair brand "Thinner" bathroom scale new from Amazon, and to our dismay, the power supply (i.e., a watch-sized battery) failed in less than a month's time. When we tried to replace the battery with a new one, we discovered that you had to literally 'DISASSEMBLE' the entire scale (20+ screws and hidden compartments) to get access to the battery compartment. And then, the best part? When we finally were able to replace the battery and get the entire scale back together again, the scale failed to work! This purchase proved to be a complete waste of money on a complete piece of rubbish! Nope, save your money and look elsewhere.
