There are better products for this... Apr 20, 2008
By C. Ellingwood I have ITBS and ordered three different compression straps off the internet. This one I give the lowest review, because unlike the other two products, this one did not stay in the correct position on my thigh to provide compression. Due to its lower elasticity, it falls from three inches above knee cap down to right above the knee cap in just a few minutes of exercize. Though the hardware looks great, this product just didn't work for me, and I suspect, for most people.
The other two products are the ProTec - IT Band Wrap which gets my highest review - see the product page. The PatStrap gets my second place vote, only inferior to the ProTec product in that it is a thinner band that feels more restrictive. It also eats my leg hairs when I take it off!
I recommend the 'ProTec - IT Band Wrap'.

There are better options out there Nov 06, 2007
By C. Poole Don't waste your time with this thing. The material is soft and doesn't stay put on your leg. There's another product that I picked up that's made out of neoprene. Something like that works much better.
Very Useful Mar 01, 2008
By John Rucker After knee surgery, this ITB strap has been very useful in helping to keep my knee cap stabilized. Plus it's light weight and thin.

Helped with the pain Jan 08, 2011
By JBo This seemed to help a lot with my IT Band pain. I also used a knee brace with long runs so not sure if it was the brace or the IT Strap, but the pain eased.
