A good product, worth the price. Jan 05, 2007
By Dustin Williams Recently, we put our house up for sale. The realtor had suggested that we change the carpet and put in a new, light beige. However, we were afraid that since we were still living in the house, that the new carpet might become dirty. To help keep the carpet clean, we purchased these shoe covers!
Here's what great about these shoe covers:
1) Compact -- the box they come in doesn't take up a lot of space in the closet.
2) Easy to put on -- they have a large foot opening area, which makes it easy to slip over one's shoes.
3) Traction -- these shoe covers have traction added, which helps to prevent slipage.
4) Inexpensive -- Compare the low cost of these to other brands and you will know what I am talking about.
5) Durability -- these shoe covers wear best inside the house. Don't wear them on rough surfaces. If you do, holes will start to appear in the fabric. Many times, I was able to wear the same pair for weeks after weeks, putting them in the washer, every few days, for cleaning.
My final synopsys: a great product, worth the price.

Great Product, Great Price, but Runs Very Small Apr 01, 2009
By IamKrusty We just recently put our house up for sale and have White carpeting that was just cleaned. To avoid continiously cleaning or ruining the carpet by buyers not taking off their shoes after walking through mud, we left these anti-skid shoe covers out in a basket for the potential buyers. I would also use them if I had to just quickly run in for something.
The are a good quality, reuseable, and washable. The anti-skid pattern is similar to just a silk-screen but does help and is a good idea. The only problem I had was that they ran very small compared to what was advertised.
The ad claims they fit up to a Men's size 10 shoe. That's not even close to accurate. I wear a Mens Size 8 and could not even fit these on over a simple dress shoe without significant force and tearing them. Unless sizing is for wihout a shoe, which wouldn't make sense for this product, they seem to run about 2-3 sizes small depending on the shoe. Not sure why they wouldn't just offer them in a one size fits all (XL only) since that would help with any size confusion.
Other than the advertised size range not being at all accurate, I would not have any other complaints and would highly recommend them. If I just went with the XL size, everything would have worked perfectly. Don't waste your time trying to buy the exact size. Just go with the XL and they should fit everyone. There is an elestic edge that will keep them on even if they are large. Not sure why they even produce them in smaller sizes since there doesn't seem to be a point.
The bottom line, just go with the XL size and you won't be dissapointed. There is no reason to try to "Custom Fit" everyone's shoe size since the elastic band allows them to accomodate all shoe sizes comfortably.

OK for shoes, but not any kind of boot Feb 16, 2010

These covers are fairly durable considering they come in 100ct, but main drawback is size. I'm not sure if it's the way their cut or constructed, but even putting these on a size 9 men's boot is unlikely to work. I have had several different workmen to the house with typical 9-10 sized work boots (not insulated winter boots, just regular leather-style work boots) and none of them have been able to fit these covers over their shoes. So basically they work for social guests who visit during the summer - probably not the primary use-case most people have in mind when purchasing the product.

A happy customer Apr 05, 2007

We have put our house on the market and I wanted to protect the carpet I just steam cleaned. Our carpet is light in color and shows the dirt easily. So I bought these and have them in a basket by the front door that the agent/potential buyers must put on. It has really helped keep the carpet clean. Because they are non-skid, folks are not apprehensive about slipping. They work great and I'm glad I bought them.
Now...if I could just get the cat to put them on after he comes in from the patio. :)

Not waterproof Jun 14, 2011
By HLW724 I like these shoe covers when the ground is dry outside..When the contractors come in from the outside and slip those on the water leaks right through and some dirt. I think these are great shoe or foot covers for people already wearing inside shoes? Or dry shoes only w/ out caked on mud!
