Biofreeze Gel Roll On 3 Pack May 06, 2009

I have tried many similar topical gel/creams to help relieve pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis and this is the only one that has worked and continues to work for me. I was looking for something other than another prescription or over the counter pain relieving medication and this fit the bill perfectly. I have intense pain in my hands and fingers and Biofreeze cools the pain and dulls the inflammation with the menthol ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised that it is not a strong menthol smell, no one can tell that I've applied it. Biofreeze is a non greasy gel that evaporates quickly after application, leaving the cooling sensation. The roll on is perfect, you can apply directly where needed without getting it all over your hands. I've bought single Bio Freeze rolls on for as much as $11 a piece, so this 3 pack is a great bargain!

By M. Prater My mother-in-law introduced me to Biofreeze. This product actually works to help relieve my arthritis pain. With the roll on applicator I don't have to worry about mess. I highly recommend this to people with arthritis.

Yes it does work Apr 12, 2009

I recently sustained a sprain to my foot during physical training and was introduced to this product by a friend who was nursing an injury of her own with Biofreeze. Until that day I had never heard of Biofreeze nor of its potential. She lent me a partial bottle of the roll on and after the first few, of many applications, the area was beginning to feel better. I have found it works great on foot injuries by applying it to the affected area and then putting a good wrap around it in layers...first an under wrap and then a sturdy medical or sport tape wrap. This product added great comfort by relieving soreness during the day and an application(with a pair of socks only, don't wrap an night) just before going to bed.
I highly recommend this product and I especially recommend the three pack as this is a great value(compare it to the single bottle prices and you will know what I mean) and you can always lend a bottle to a friend if you don't need that many...I am still working on my first bottle and have since lent one to someone in need. I want to thank Eileen for introducing me to this product...it would have been a more painful and difficult road without this product.

What's so hot about "the freeze?" Aug 13, 2011
By Talltalent Having heard about Biofreeze through my sister and her husband, both older than I, my mother encouraged me to purchase same as soon as possible. Having found a fantastic price through Amazon, I did order it in the triple 3-ounce roll-on size. As one who much of the time has to contend with discomfort due to arthritis and other "old age" maladies, I find that this product only occasionally helps releive my pain and discomfort. My sister says it's the best topical remedy she has found; whereas, I find it helpful to a lesser degree. Likewise with our mother of 92.

Amazing pain relief for tendonitis & Carpul Tunnel Syndrome! Aug 12, 2011
By Virtually_Here If you're not interested in (or do not tolerate well) narcotic pain relievers, and are seeking a topical solution instead, give Biofreeze a try. Unlike BenGay and some other topical analgesics and pain relievers, Biofreeze does not leave a lasting odor on your skin and it works almost as fast as you can apply it. It is cryotherapy (opposite of heat) and it works by numbing ("freezing") the nerves in the area it's applied to. But it does NOT affect the blood flow (the way ice leaves EVERYTHING numb); instead Biofreeze JUST numbs the nerves in the affected area and since blood flow continues as normal, quicker healing can take place.
I was/am a strong candidate for the Carpul Tunnel Syndrome surgery and (for personal reasons) am electing not to have it done. However, the pain can be torturous. My sister (who works in a Rehab center), told me this product is in regular use at her Rehab Center for the elderly patients, enabling them to work (do exercises) in the face of painful physical therapy, and it works well. So I decided to give it a try and it was the best move I ever made as related to pain.
I consulted with my Orthopedic surgeon. For me, the Biofreeze gave me about an hour and twenty minutes of continuous pain relief once it kicked in. But the directions say to use the product just 4 times a day. When I spoke with my doctor about it he told me I could use it as often as needed (even every 90 minutes, if need be) and it wouldn't cause me any harm. So, that's what I did -- and still do -- and the relief I've gotten with this product is unmatched by anything else I've ever used (including prescribed narcotic pain relief!) for pain. So, if tendonitis (or something similar) is a problem for you, I strongly recommend that you try Biofreeze! It's only available locally through Rehabilitation facilities, and Chiropractors' offices. (Otherwise you can buy it directly from the company online.) But it is also available through Amazon.com -- and honestly, I've never found it cheaper anyplace else! Try it; the only thing you'll lose is the pain and the sleepless nights caused by that pain!
