Junk Mar 15, 2010
By Casey Jones I ordered this item to replace a previous one that had broken. The day it arrived I used it to fill up a new balance ball - almost. When the ball was about half full I could tell there was something wrong with the pump. The handle and shaft were sticking and resisting movement. I took the pump apart and discovered the rubber membrane was all tangled around the plunger. After carefully untangling it and getting grease all over my hands I reassembled and tried again. Same thing happened, only this time the membrane was ripped. I did what I could to get it back in place again, and it wheezed along enough to almost fill the ball (not enough to use)before completely seizing up.
I threw it away and spent another 20 minutes cleaning up the grease it had leaked on my hands, clothes and the balance ball. I'll never buy another one.

Nice general-purpose air pump Aug 26, 2009
By William Zola This is a simple, inexpensive hand-held pump. It's relatively small - about the size of a hand-held flashlight that takes 2 'D' batteries. It comes with two attachments - one for inflating FitBall products, and a traditional "needle" valve for use with basketballs, footballs and the like. I used it to inflate my FitBall Wedge and Seating Disk, and it worked without problems for both.
If you don't have another source of air inflation, this is a fine, compact alternative to going to the gas station.

Just what I need Aug 18, 2010
By Sarah M. I use this air pump to inflate my Thera-Brand exercise ball (65cm). It does its job perfectly and fairly fast (initial inflation of the ball took only around 3 minutes). I'm glad I purchased this instead of a more expensive heavy duty one to serve the purpose.

Piece of Crap Nov 24, 2010
By Aurora B. This is crappiest pump. Thanks a lot Fitball! I may as well have bought my own. It took FOREVER to make any difference in the aerobic ball at all (was still pretty flat after 45 minutes of pumping -- yes, I was doing it correctly!) After that, it just broke. It won't pump anymore! Like I said, thanks!
Broke before I could even get the ball pumped Nov 15, 2011
By Martin P McGreal Jr Don't waste your money. You'd be better off with any other pump. Besides, I just figured out that the hole on the Theraband balls is designed so that it can be used w/just about any size pump nozzle, so you probably already have one that will work fine. I used the one that came with our inflatable mattress, works great.
