This thermometer does the job quickly and accurately. Not much else to say about it other than that I will never go back to primitive glass thermometers.

This thermometer takes what appear to be accurate readings and is easy to use. I especially like the function that allows the user to change between degrees F and C. What is lacking, however, is a flexible tip. Also, it takes longer to obtain an accurate reading whereas some thermometers accomplish this in under 8 seconds. Also, there is no apparent beeping when the highest temperature is reached. Still, it is a sturdy basic unit.

While inexpensive the thermometer is not worth the money . Two of the three do not work - no signal when temperature reached or on start up. Although there is a warranty it costs more to use the warranty than the product itself. Look up to the next level.

3-4F variation when I checked temperature 10 sec apart. And both were incorrect when I compared with a new vicks thermo I bought from Target today.

60 SECONDS IS TOO LONG Feb 08, 2011

These thermometers take 60+ seconds for a reading. They say that reading is 60 seconds on the back of the package, so the Amazon advertising statement is in error. THESE ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED, EVEN IF THEY DON'T WORK.
Save your money. Not worth the price. We bought 3 and are throwing them out.
