I assumed that since this was a more expensive brace, it would be higher quality. It did not work. It could be used to hold your tummy in, but does nothing for the shoulders, which is the purpose I bought it. I will be returning mine for a refund.

I bought this brace for my posture but have found it's great for shoulder stress as well. I work in front of a computer all day and usually by the end of the day my shoulders are killing me and causing a headache. I started wearing this brace while working and noticed that it keeps me from hunching and forces me to sit a little more upright. My headaches have gone away and my shoulders don't hunch over while walking anymore.
The only downside is that it is really only a posture brace that has minimal lower back support.
It takes a little while to get comfortable with wearing it as it limits some movement of your reach but wear it for a few days and you wont even notice it is on.

Most people with reviews here seem to miss the point... it's a "Posture Control Brace". It does not say "Support". It is not designed to offer lower back support. It does, however, take a lot of strain off your shoulders.
I have tried a few other posture braces and none were as comfortable as this one. Most others fasten around the ribs or diaphragm which tends to stifle deep breathing. At least it did for me. I found myself feeling suffocated. This one fastens at the waist, allowing full deep breaths.
The material is soft and supple and breathes well also.
For those saying it did nothing to pull your shoulders back.... you've got to be doing it wrong. The tighter you pull the smaller straps, the further it pulls your shoulders back. Really simple.
The only drawback is that it does tend to "ride up" around the waist, especially when sitting. Though I think that's the norm for most braces.
I'm happy with it.

It really was a waste of money. I also bought it for my shoulders and back but it doesn't offer any support. I received it yesterday and am returning it today for a full refund. Does hold your stomache in, but that's not what this is for.
